Job Overview:
As SAP FI – Solution Specialist, you will be integral to enhancing Solar’s SAP S/4HANA environment, mainly focusing on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting, but also CO elements for profit center and cost center accounting. You will engage in project work, support, and maintenance, all while leveraging the latest technologies to improve business processes and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in the design, configuration, and implementation of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting processes.
• Play an important role in both project-based work and day-to-day support, ensuring smooth system functionality aligned with business needs.
• Provide continuous support and maintenance of Solar’s SAP FI module, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
• Work with S/4HANA, exploring innovative technologies like Fiori and BTP (Business Technology Platform) to improve efficiency.
• Core Integrity: Focus on maintaining a clean SAP core by utilizing standard best practices and minimizing custom developments.
Qualifications:
• Experience in SAP FI, with a focus on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and experience working with Fiori.
• Keen interest in leveraging new technologies.
• Ability to balance project responsibilities with ongoing support and maintenance tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to SAP Open Text VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) is an advantage but not a requirement.
