SAP Integration and ETL Expert

Project Overview:

• Goal: Integrate contractor data into the Project Management Information System (PMIS).
• Timeline: March 1 to October 31, 2025 (6 months full-time, 40 hours per week).
• Role: Data Integration Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Integration:
   • Identify EPCM partners and their data systems for project sites.
   • Help determine how we can receive monthly cost data from EPCM contractors.
   • Lead the setup of a data cleaning and transformation process to import contractor cost data into the cost management system.
     • Short-term focus: Create a manual or semi-manual solution to start data imports quickly.
     • Long-term focus: Plan automation to make the process durable.
2. SAP Cost Data Integration:
   • Assist with mapping and importing cost data from SAP (actuals and commitments).
3. Reporting Support:
   • Help design and execute reporting solutions once data flows are established.
   • Plan for scalable and long-term data management tools.
4. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Architecture:
   • Advise on selecting data transformation tools and processes.
   • Ensure tools meet business, compliance, and operational needs.
   • Document and ensure QA approval for all data transformations.

Project Scope:

• Cover nine global large-scale expansion projects (and growing).
• Focus on automating data operations using tools like Databricks or Fabrics.
• Transition to long-term automation once data imports are reliable.
