IT Lead functional – Shipping/4PL & WH/3PL

The project is structured in supply chain areas, where this role is related to Warehouse 3PL & Shipping/4PL, taking on the entire Solution responsibility for the Technical Solution design related to the Distribution area and report directly to project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver an IT solution design within Shipping (4PL) and External Warehouse (3PL) in accordance with business requirements and aligned with the other IT functional areas.
• Act as a supporting counterpart to LOB track lead. Assist LOB track lead in assessing the business requirements, in terms of, their feasibility with project technical guiding principles for Outbound area, specifically:
• Focus on solution design as close to SAP standard/ industry best practice as possible
• Avoid to the extent possible to modify SAP Standard Code
• Solution alignment towards ongoing projects (e.g. S/4/ External warehouse integrations, EWM) to ensure future feasibilities
• Striving towards a solution design easier to maintain and support
• Take ownership of the technical solution for the pertaining areas by defining the High-Level Solution design and asses the technical tasks, technical resource needs and duration of the activities
• Assist functionals in defining the technical issues, assumption and risks along the designing, building, testing/validation, roll out phases•
• Align and report directly to Senior Project manager in terms of having efficient project scheduling and progress

Profile Capabilities:

Highly self-driven and very proactive
S/4 Hana & SAP ECC technical understanding
Functional skills and experience required – own functional work will be in scope
Expert knowledge within Shipping, SD, Intercompany, integration to 3PL and 4PL
Culturally adept with international background
Pharma industry knowledge
