Abena is a Danish family-owned conglomerate that produces and distributes a wide range of products for customers in healthcare, industry, and retail. The company is in solid growth and has its own production facilities in Denmark, Sweden, and France. IT is well-anchored in the corporate leadership, and the company has an ambitious IT strategy with a focus on digitization and automation.
At Abena, you become part of a successful company where SAP is the key system on the journey towards a global organization. Abena has been implementing SAP since 2015 and has continuously rolled out SAP to sites around the world. They are now in the middle of an extensive S/4 HANA Greenfield implementation and are therefore looking for a skilled SAP FI consultant to join the journey.
You will be responsible for driving deployments and implementations of SAP across Abena's subsidiaries.
In summary, your role involves integrating SAP into the business and subsidiaries, aligning with global best practices, and driving the organization to the next level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to SAP deployments within a growing global organization.
- Identifying needs and requirements through close collaboration with local leaders and teams, including interviews and workshops.
- Transforming gathered insights into practical development requirements for external teams.
- Overseeing development processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Managing customization tasks, conducting tests, and handling hypercare activities.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for complex support and operational issues, acting as a bridge between the business and developers.
- Demonstrating a proactive approach and substantial experience in SAP implementation.
- These tasks are central to your role in shaping Abena's SAP landscape with a global perspective.

- Several years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA implementation.
- Extensive experience in SAP FI, and potentially other module areas.
- Full proficiency in English

Your new workplace will be Abena's headquarters in Aabenraa, where you will become part of a team of 30 dedicated SAP specialists in an informal and positive working environment, where knowledge sharing, helpfulness, and integrity are a natural part of everyday life. You can expect approximately 20-25 travel days to meet your customers at various subsidiaries (when possible).
