For our client, Aalborg Portland, IT Optimiser is looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP FI-CO Business Process Manager. In this position, you will really have the chance to influence your own work and play an expert role leading the SAP FI-CO area.
Aalborg Portland Holding A/S is a subsidiary of Cementir Group, headquartered in Rome, Italy. Cementir Group is a global player within cement, concrete and aggregates, with plants located in Denmark, Norway, Belgium, France, Turkey, Egypt, China, Malaysia and the US. Further, sales offices and/or terminals are located in multiple countries throughout western Europe.
Cementir Group is using SAP globally and has recently changed to the HANA database; Within the next couple of years the ambition is to transition to a full S/4 solution.
The team and role
The new Senior FI-CO BPM will join the IT department and a team of 8 dedicated SAP specialists internally, covering each their SAP area, and supported by use of external consultants and the dedicated SAP AMS partner. IT, including the SAP area, in Cementir Group act as a matrix organization, with experts located at different locations within the organization, but working together across companies and country borders.
The main goal of the Senior SAP FI-CO BPM is to act as the primary expert on SAP finance processes. You will be the focal point of and driving force within the financial area in Cementir Group on a global level.
The SAP FI-CO BPM is expected to take charge of all SAP finance related areas, such as:
• Gain insight into Finance processes to establish a position as the global finance process expert
• Run local and group-wise projects and system enhancements within SAP FI
• Help drive process harmonization across the group and establish best practice sharing
• Establish a good relationship with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Challenge the business on their requests and promote process enhancement
• Participate in the design and implementation of a system development roadmap, drawing on previous experience and training
• Close cooperation with external consultants and the SAP AMS partner when prioritising and handling tickets
Qualifications
As the group’s primary expert within SAP Financials, the SAP FI-CO BPM has a significant influence on the direction and development within the area. A high level of autonomy and drive, with the ability to maintain an overview in a, at times, hectic environment is expected.
As you will be working with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, the ability to interact and collaborate with stakeholders from different cultures is important, as well as a political ability to navigate interests and priorities.
SAP FI experience is empathized as the primary area of responsibility, while CO is secondary although not to be neglected. Therefor you are very experienced within SAP FI with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in SAP CO area is considered a big plus. You have experience with project management as you will handle multiple initiatives simultaneously. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage but not a requirement as well as experience with Readsoft, SAF-T or ABAP is a plus.
