The company is growing and they are looking for a new colleague in the SAP Production Systems department. The Client has initiated their S/4 HANA journey and is planning for an S/4 HANA migration in 2025. What to expect
As an SAP Senior Consultant, you will be working in a global team where you have the responsibility for the Danish SAP set-up. Working as a functional consultant doing end-2-end processes, you will be hands-on with customization and also have the opportunity to work with minor ABAP programming (and SmartForms) if you possess these skills. You will implement new IT Processes (e.g. customizing) as well as making sure that daily operations are secured (DevOps). Another task will be the technical and functional preparation of solutions towards the S/4 HANA migration.
Playing a key-role in working across departments and functions, you will deliver and rollout projects in the Production & Logistics business units. You will be working in an Agile Framework in product teams and continuously be improving and rolling out the existing solutions and products for SAP System in the area of Productions and Order Management.
Close collaboration with the Business, the Product owner and always living agile culture, methods and tools, will be a daily task. You will also collaborate and be supported in your responsibility for the Danish solution from your global SAP colleagues across Europe and India.
What we are looking for
The right candidate is customer friendly and good at building relationships. It is vital that you have the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders, and also understand and analyse client needs. You have strong communication skills, are a team player and follow a structured approach in your work.
We expect you to have:
• A degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Mechanical Engineering with focus on IT or similar
• Several years of experience in SAP PS and preferably also in PP, PM and connected SAP modules (e.g. QM, MM, SD).
• Substantial experience in business processes within production and supply chain management
• Basic understanding of agile methods and principles and the motivation to embrace it further. Ability to work with global agile product teams
It is an advantage if you have a basic understanding of or experience in ABAP coding and SmartForms.
Furthermore, you enjoy working in an international setting, and you manage to get the best out of the cultural diversity of the team. As you will be working in a global organization high intercultural skills and fluency in both written and spoken Danish and English is a prerequisite to be successful in this role.
