SAP ABAP Developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM ABAP Developer to join one of our clients on a contract basis. This role focuses on SAP Transportation Management (TM) and involves developing, enhancing, and supporting TM solutions to optimize transportation and logistics processes. The ideal candidate has strong ABAP skills and experience in SAP TM projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements for SAP TM.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to understand TM business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support the integration of SAP TM with other modules such as SD, MM, and EWM.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the SAP TM environment.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and support activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience in ABAP development.
• Preferably knowledge of SAP TM processes: shipment planning, freight order management, freight cost calculation, and logistics execution.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and follow coding standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in an offshore team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development for TM dashboards or apps.
• Exposure to SAP TM Cloud or S/4HANA TM projects.
