SAP Concur Implementation Lead (Travel & Expense – Global Rollout)

Project Overview

Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced SAP Concur implementation partner to expand the use of their existing Concur environment. While currently using SAP Concur for expense management, the client aims to extend the implementation to include travel management and potentially other related modules, enabling end-to-end visibility and control over travel, expense, and invoice management.

This transformation is part of a broader initiative led by the Digital Finance organization to deliver a global, scalable, and integrated travel and expense solution.

Scope of Work

The selected partner will be responsible for:

• Assessing the current “As-Is” landscape of SAP Concur usage.
• Designing the “To-Be” solution architecture for travel and integrated expense management.
• Providing a high-level implementation roadmap, including:
  • Cost estimation
  • Timeline
  • Resource/team composition
• Executing the implementation and rollout across global regions, including:
  • Solution configuration
  • Integration with existing systems
  • Functional testing
  • Change management and training
  • Global rollout support

Delivery Expectations

• Offshore and/or nearshore delivery is strongly preferred for cost efficiency.
• Proposals should include a phased approach, ideally starting with a Concur Expert/Architect to lead discovery and planning.
• The implementation team should include experienced SAP Concur Functional Consultants with multiple global rollouts under their belt.

Required Expertise

SAP Concur Architect

• Minimum 2–3 full-cycle SAP Concur implementations, including travel module rollouts in global enterprises.
• Proven experience in solution architecture, stakeholder engagement, and translating business needs into scalable Concur solutions.
• Strong knowledge of integration with HR, Finance, and third-party travel booking systems (e.g., GDS, TMCs).

SAP Concur Functional Consultants

• At least 2–3 global SAP Concur implementations, covering expense and travel.
• Expertise in solution configuration, business process mapping, and end-user training.
• Experience in test planning, issue resolution, and hypercare support.

Additional Notes

• Knowledge of compliance requirements across various geographies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English are essential.
• Experience working with Digital Finance teams and in manufacturing environments is preferred.
